At Ready Stat Go, we believe that all children discover themselves when they get lost in the pages of a book. Surrounded by cherished literary characters, mythical heroes, historical figures, or even nefarious villains, children learn not only about themselves but also about who they aspire to become. In this time of civil unrest, books hold the power to enlighten, shift perspectives, and heal the divisions of hate.
Program Summary: $80 per person
4-Week Session meets two times per week for 1 hour each, available for two groups:
3rd & 4th Graders
5th & 6th Graders
Facilitated by a highly qualified teacher, this homeschool program equips participants with:
A copy of the book to start building an at-home library
A workbook that guides scholars through the instructional standards addressed by the text
Sessions incorporate various instructional strategies, including reading aloud, silent sustained reading, student-led discussions, and project-based learning.
